We want YOU to become an American Red Cross Volunteer!

If you are looking for a way to make a difference in people’s lives, we have opportunities here at the American Red Cross that can make that happen! Our volunteers are the backbone of our organization; making up 97 percent of our total workforce. It is because of our volunteers we are able to continue to carry out the valuable, meaningful humanitarian work throughout out individual communities and nation.  We encourage you to pursue any of our volunteer opportunities whether you are a professional, retiree, full-time student or stay at home parent – we have something for you!

Our opportunities range from responding to local or national disasters, working with our blood donors through our blood center and community mobiles, serving as a translator to non-English speaking clients through our language bank, teaching valuable lifesaving skills such as CPR and First Aid, assisting with fundraising efforts and helping our staff with administrative tasks. No matter how you choose to serve, we can point you in the right direction and provide you with any training necessary. Your gift of time, effort and commitment helps to keep the Red Cross run effectively.

Thank you for taking the time to consider becoming a part of our Red Cross team!

We encourage you to join us – please call or email our Volunteer Coordinator for more information on volunteer opportunities and how you can get involved with your local Red Cross chapter!
