About Us

The Asheville-Mountain Area Chapter of the American Red Cross was originally chartered on April 11, 1917. The Chapter provides Red Cross services in Buncombe, Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Jackson, Macon, Madison, Mitchell, Swain and Yancey counties and the Qualla Boundary.

Fred West serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Patrick Fitzsimmons is the Executive Director.
