The Asheville-Mountain Area Chapter provides speakers for your event.  Business meetings, lunch and learns, congregational meetings and community workshops are all great opportunities to learn more about the Red Cross and the services that we provide to the community.

Possible speaking requests:

American Red Cross Overview of Services - Learn about the programs and services the Asheville-Mountain Area Chapter provides to our community.

Be Red Cross Ready - Easy steps to personal and family emergency preparedness.

Community Disaster Preparedness Education - How to prepare and respond to disasters in our community.

Disaster Preparedness Planning for Your Business - Preparedness presentation on how your business or organization can be prepared for emergencies.

Get to Know Us Before You Need Us - An overview of Red Cross services provided to military men and women and their families.

International Services - Topics include the Geneva Conventions and activities under the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.

Volunteering with the Red Cross - Topics include an overview of the services the Red Cross provides and the wide range of roles that volunteers play in providing those services.

Health & Safety - Certified Health and Safety courses (ex. CPR, First Aid) are associated with a fee and time requirements.  You can request to be contacted to identify your specific training needs or interests.
