Whales Tales Program

Our Red Cross chapter hopes to reduce or prevent water related accidents by offering water safety information to students. The Whales Tales program is geared toward younger students.  It is video driven and supported by teacher-led discussion of 8 important water safety lessons.  The video emphasizes safe behavior in, on, and around the water.  Schedule an American Red Cross volunteer to come to your school and present a 30 minute water safety program to your students.  It includes a 14 minute video, posters, other visual aids and instructor-led discussion.  It makes a great coordinated grade-level activity.
